 Our Mission

We exist to show Jesus’ love by connecting people in need to resources for housing, clothing, and life skills.

Our Story

Aberdeen StepUp Ministries came into existence when several members of the community realized that there were needs of homeless people, children in foster care, and others coming to us that were not being met. We reached out to existing agencies to learn where they needed help and where they were being stretched beyond their resources.

We came from a variety of backgrounds and experiences with one common goal: to fulfill the mandate of our Lord Jesus, “…I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.” (Matthew 25:35-36)

It is our desire, to come alongside and partner with existing agencies and ministries our community, to help solve problems, meet needs, and be “Doers, for the least of these.”
